Where Do You Play?
I’m always curious as to where readers spend their time. As an author, I have to be online a LOT. I long for the days when all I had to do was check email and write. When Facebook came onto scene everything changed. Then Twitter happened, then Instagram, now there’s Snapchat, and other social media apps that are either a fad or they just seem to take over your life. I don’t know about you, but I’m slowly drowning in social media. It’s why I actually have taken a step back from it all. Most of my reading these days is industry related, but I do get the occasional romance book to relax with even if I tend to pick books that are shorter reads. There’s no way I could even contemplate starting a Game of Thrones book! How much time to you spend on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest or other social media. Does it impact your reading?

I am one of the few that does not use all of the social media formats… I just visit websites like this one to see what is new…

Colleen, I think there are a lot of people who still prefer to just read than play on Facebook or Twitter or any of the social media sites. I would gladly give it up if it weren’t a business requirement. 🙂 Monica

That’s one of the reasons I steadfastly refuse to join FB or Twitter or Pinterest, it would cut into my reading time. It’s hard enough to carve out time and still juggle the e-mailbox and the blog, lol!

I agree Elf, I actually paid for a program on my phone and PC that I can set to block time sucks when I need to be working. It’s sad that I have no will-power! *hanging head in shame*
