Toys, Sex, and Other Ways to Spice Up Life 4 by Kelli Kamryn
When I first began writing this series, I needed something in my life to make me laugh. Couple it with hot sex, and a lot of heart, it made for entertaining writing! My hope is that readers and reviewers would find the series entertaining as well. I love to make people laugh, so a lot of the scenes in these books don’t go according to plan. My characters don’t allow themselves to get hung up on it, but talk it out, and find another way to make things work with as much grace and humor as possible.
Share with me what things in your life haven’t gone according to plan, but you’ve managed to make the best of it with grace and humor.
While you’re thinking of what to share, here’s an excerpt:
Callie closed her eyes and moaned. Max slipped one hand between her thighs and cupped her mound. Two fingers slid inside her pussy, his thumb toying with her clit. Callie rested her back against the wall, relaxing into his ministrations. A contented sigh escaped her lips. He pumped his fingers into her faster and she gasped, hands reaching out to grab hold of something. She managed to clutch the shower curtain with such a strong grip, the whole curtain and rod came crashing down around them.
Callie uttered apologies as Max sought to untangle themselves from the mess. “Don’t worry about it,” he reassured her. “It can be replaced.”
Once Max had set the apparatus to the side, he pulled the stopper from the drain and offered Callie a hand. As she pushed herself to a stand, she slipped, tugging on his arm for support. Max lost his balance and fell into her, sticking out one arm to catch himself on the wall opposite. His knees buckled when they hit the edge of the tub. Despite the shock, he managed to keep Callie from crashing to the bottom of the tub.
Max groaned at the impact. “You good?”
Wide-eyed, she blinked at him. “Uh-huh. How about you?”
With deliberate movements, Max got them both upright. “All right—take two.”
The fifth and final book in the series will be available November 10th. Get the first book for free on the eXtasy Books website!

I think handling unexpected mishaps with grace and humor is essential. That is one of the reasons I appreciate my hubby so much…he’s pretty unflustered by some of the things i have managed to do…although I told him at the beginning I refused to be one of that group that proves that most slips and falls happen in the bathroom, lol.
