She fell into step beside him. “Where are you parked?”
“My regular spot in the players’ area.” He opened the parking garage door. “Just down here.” She messed with his head just by walking with him. He wanted to hold her and feel her tucked to his side.
“I forget you guys have the nicer spots.”
“Just a higher level.” He shrugged. “This is my car.”
“Nice.” Kaja smiled. She caged him between her arms and the back fender of the car. “You said something about wanting me to like you. What if I already did?”
He pressed his hands to his sides. “I’d be shocked.”
“Prepare to be shocked.” She smoothed her palms inside his sport coat and along his chest. The move turned him on, but also confused him. She’d just turned him down!
“I’ve wanted to do this for a long time.” She stood on her toes and pressed her lips to his. The moment they connected, he groaned. He’d imagined this moment, and she tasted better than in his dreams. He didn’t bother to think. Screw the rules. He wrapped his arms around her. She cuddled to him. For warmth? He didn’t care.
