The Nantucket Island Romance Series by Dawn Tomasko
Sara Shepard is done being a people pleaser. She couldn’t save her own marriage, now her college bound daughter’s furious with her over the divorce. With empty hands and a hopeful heart, she heads to Nantucket Island for serious soul searching and a brand new start. Soon, her life is full of exciting new changes; a remodel on the beach cottage she’s renting, and the start of a new business allowing her to follow her passion. No one needs to know the ugly details of the marriage to her ex, or the even uglier ones from her toxic childhood.
Gabriel Donovan is awarded the contract on the cottage remodel by Sara’s best friend. Sara finds him too confident and ridiculously hot. What’s more is he doesn’t know how to take no for an answer. She soon realizes he’s the one she read about: The successful CEO of a New York investment firm who walked away to rebuild historic homes on the island. She’s not the only one with a past; Gabriel has a few secrets of his own.
At first they are satisfied with a friends with benefits relationship, but a quick turn of events makes Gabriel want more. He issues an ultimatum but Sara’s not sure she can surrender, even facing the promise of finding her happily ever after. Just when she thinks it could be possible, a horrific accident threatens to take it all away.

About the Author: Dawn’s family comes first; her husband, three children, daughter in law and two gorgeous grandsons. She’s been an office manager for a candle manufacturer, a preschool teacher, now a medical assistant in Internal Medicine. A friend once called her a renaissance woman. She found that exhilarating…no box to fit into; just doing whatever she enjoys and unafraid to try new things. But her true passion is writing. She’s been completing books for a long time and spends most of her time pursuing a serious career as a published author. Her stories are character driven, and she loves to use humor, passion and believes that at the end of the day one thing matters most: Love.
Reading is as important as writing, and she loves to find new authors. Dawn lives in New England with her family, one ancient black lab adored by many and six chickens, who deliver eggs when they darn well feel like it. She’d love to hear from you!
