Thank you.
The best accent of self-publishing is the fact that the author is guaranteed to be published, no matter what genre book he/she writes. Traditional publishers often look for content not yet written about, or seldom written about; such as true-life alien abductions, or what living conditions Earth might possess in the year 4000, if humans last that long.
Self-publishing allows for more leeway with subject matter. In short, the author can tell it like it is. Most traditional publishers generally follow a code of conduct, for the fear of treading on someone’s toes or sued for libel. Self-publishers though, tend to not care what others think.
With self-publishing every detail is on the shoulders of the author. Many editing errors can apply with self-publishing. The steps necessary for a successfully polished book can be lengthy and expensive. This expense can begin with the hiring of a professional editor if the self-publishing author is non-prolific in the English language. Every book, even self-publishing requires editing to ensure a readable and enjoyable final product for the reader.
