If you’re like me and you live anywhere near the projected path of Hurricane Irma, you’ve been glued to the news and social media. Watching this monster storm roll in has been like seeing a train wreck. You don’t want to know but you can’t look away. One of my sisters and two nephews and their extended families are all in central Florida. A dear writer friend is north of Tampa. I can now recognize more counties in FL than I can in my home state of GA. ;o
I’m happy to say everyone I know is safe and except for some damage, no one was hurt. I’m grateful for disaster prep and the loving care of family. I’m ready up here in Atlanta for whatever the storm decides to throw our way. I hope. We’re expecting only heavy wind and rain. Nothing Atlanta hasn’t dealt with before!
Are you in a safe place? Are your loved ones and friends okay? Please let me know how you weathered the storm. If you’ve been watching in fascinated awe, what spot has been most helpful to you? Please share in the comments. Stay safe!
