Can they give her a magical Halloween?
Storm Lope is half pixie/half human and is known for her hot temper and her ability to hold a grudge. Storm learned to use both as self-defense to protect her fragile heart. Those defenses had worked well for her until she met two irritating men who refuse to be scared off.
Nolan Moree and Matty Draco vow to break through Storm’s fiery walls. They almost lost her once. They weren’t going to take a chance of ever letting that happen again. With danger surrounding them, the men set out to give Storm a magical Halloween where nightmares are replaced with I dos, and Happy Ever Afters are real!
Nolan grinned even though Matty had kicked him in the leg and Storm had glared at him, it would seem his mates were just as attracted to him as he was to them. All they had to do now was find out who was after Storm and wait for her to heal before they could seal their bond.
One thing was for sure, Nolan didn’t have that much patience, but for Storm’s health, he’d wait even if it meant jerking off in the shower. He turned his attention once more on Storm, who was glancing at Drake.
Storm was nervous, staring at Drake. “This could be nothing, but I found it strange that Ringo was speaking with Porter before the explosion. I saw in Matty’s thoughts that Porter had been the traitor, and well, they were arguing about something. Again, maybe it’s nothing,” Storm said.
Both Matty and Drake said nothing, staring at Storm. “Does Ringo know Porter well?” he asked, not afraid but needing to know.
“Everyone at the house knew Porter and his wife. They were regular visitors. No, he can’t be in on this,” Drake sat back, growling.
Nolan swore Drake was going over Ringo’s movements over the past weeks while sitting in the car.
“To steal children, even hurt Mom?” Matty asked.
“Ringo could have been recruited. Remember, your mother was taken before you two were even born. Did Ringo know about his mother being taken before all of this went down?” Nolan asked, sending the information to his brothers, knowing they would move carefully to see what they could about Ringo without hurting his new father and mate.
“Yes, this is why I can’t understand why… I mean, sure, he wasn’t too happy when Matty was born, but… This just does not make sense,” Drake growled. “But then, Porter’s visits… I remember seeing Porter and Ringo speaking sometimes but stopping when they spotted me.”
Drake sat forward and glanced at each of them. “This does not go anywhere until we find out for sure. Darla has been hurt enough with Elf.” Drake turned and looked at Nolan.
“You’ve spoken with your brothers. I’m leaving this up to them. They will report to me when they find out anything. Nolan, I’m counting on your family keeping this from Darla because this is going to destroy her.”
“No shit,” Matty grumbled and hugged their woman tight.
Nolan reached over and squeezed Matty’s arm. “Whatever the outcome, we will work this out as a family. Even if he has some connection to this group, we’ll work it out together, that I promise. All of you are family now, and my brothers protect their family. But Drake, if this is the case, it will have to be explored to see how much damage was done to the city itself since Ringo knows all our security information.”
“Nolan, I would like you and your brothers to move in the wing where you are staying. Also, ask your cousins to stay. They can take Elf’s and Nava’s wing for now. Matty, do not, and I repeat, do not leave Storm with anyone but Nolan’s brothers, understood?” Drake ordered.
“Dad?” Matty questioned.
Drake sighed. “We can’t take the chance, Matty.”
Storm glanced back and forth between Matty and Drake. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to cause trouble.”
