I love writing erotic romance–in any of the sub-genres. I’ve dabbled in paranormal, written several BDSM flavored short stories and have written straight contemporary erotic romance. With my upcoming release Marital Bonds, out 11/17/2017, I’m thrilled to take my readers in a whole new direction.
Marital Bonds is an emotional-filled erotic romance that focuses on a married couple. One of the things I feel is missing in today’s romance market are stories about existing couples. So much of romance is focused on the couple meeting and falling in love. While I enjoy writing those stories immensely, I mean, there’s the thrill of the hunt, the new and exciting aspects of learning chemistry, and of course, writing those steamy sex scenes! But, I wanted to write something about a couple who had been through some hard times.
And so Eric and Andrea’s story was born.
Eric and Andrea have forgotten about their chemistry, lost their intimacy–their love is still there–but it’s buried under layers of guilt and anguish. That’s all I’ll say about their story for now, I’ll let them tell you a bit more themselves in this exclusive sneak peek at Marital Bonds.
“I’m not trying to ruin things, I swear.” He brushed the hair off my face and dropped a kiss on my forehead. “There is nothing that I want more than to tear your panties off, bunch that skirt around your waist and take you right here against this wall.”
At his words, my panties dampened considerably. I’d always loved the rough way Eric had told me what he wanted to do to me. It had always lit something inside of me. It still did, despite the fact that we hadn’t been together in that sort of wild way for nearly three years.
“I want that, too. Really,” I said in a husky voice. Eric arched a brow at me. “I want that, baby. So much. There’s something wrong with me…I love hearing you talk dirty. I love the way your skin feels under my hands. I just feel so damn guilty.”
Tears threatened to well up in my eyes. Oh god. This wasn’t how I pictured this night going. I looked at the ceiling so I wouldn’t have to see the tenderness in my husband’s eyes.
“Hey, look at me.”
I did as he asked.
“You have nothing to feel guilty about. Nothing.”
Without saying another word Eric scooped me in his arms and walked over to our couch. He sat down and I settled onto his lap. His erection pressed against my hip. I wanted it so badly, but at the same time had forgotten how to ask for that. How to take it myself.
“I love you,” I said as I rested my head on his shoulder. He smelled fantastic. He always did. Like woodsy soap and clean skin.
He stroked my back and somehow in the middle of all the fear and anxiety, the moment clicked in my mind. This was intimate. It wasn’t sex, but it was more physical contact than we’d shared in a long time.
Expect to see more teasers from Marital Bonds at the TRS Thanksgiving Party, happening November 17-22! And look for Marital Bonds on November 14!
