What’s your favorite thing about Halloween?
Harley: I have to pick just one? Seeing the decorations when I drive around town. Although, not too many people where I live go all out like they did when I lived in Atlanta. My small town doesn’t seem to really get into decorating for any holiday.
Do you have a favorite Halloween movie?
Harley: I watch “Halloween” movies all year round, but I’d have to say Hocus Pocus is probably my favorite of the family friendly movies. If you mean something scarier, Rose Red, which is based off a book by Stephen King.
Have you ever thought of writing something spooky?
Harley: My son has actually challenged me to write a horror novel. I haven’t attempted it yet, but I may one day. He said with as many scary movies as I’ve watched, and as many horror novels as I’ve read, I shouldn’t need to do much research. I’ve always loved a good spooky, chilling tale!
Can you describe your writing space to us?
Harley: I recently had my office enclosed. The walls are a soft mint and my floors are stained a dark walnut. One wall has two large framed prints of two of my book covers (Dragon and Spider). Another wall has four J. Scott Campbell signed, framed prints (Alice in Wonderland, Little Red Riding Hood, Beauty and the beast, and the Little Mermaid). Behind my L-shaped desk is a wall of bookshelves that are a mix of collectibles (like Fizzgig from Dark Crystal) and books I’ve read as well as books I’ve written.
Do you have a favorite novel you’ve read?
Harley: It depends on the genre because I have a lot of favorites. Legend by Jude Devereaux, Making a Play by Abbi Glines, Fury by Laurann Dohner, and many others.
If you had one piece of advice for an aspiring author, what would it be?
Harley: Don’t give up. You’ll have people tear you down, or rip your book apart. Try to pick out what’s constructive criticism and use it to hone your craft. You’ll need a thick skin to be a writer, but if it’s something you really want to do, go for it. Just be prepared to put in a lot of hard work. Overnight success is as rare as finding a unicorn.

Titan — I no longer looked at the girls frequenting the clubhouse the same way I had before. Being a dad changed my perspective, especially since I had a daughter. I still had fun, but it had lost its appeal. Then she walked in. Too young. Too innocent. Until she asked to join the webcam girls. The thought of strange men watching her made my hands clench. It was safer if only I had access to the feed, or so I told myself. Really, I’m just being a possessive bastard. Delilah will be mine, whether she realizes it or not. One kiss is all it takes for me to know she belongs to me. When she’s taken, I know I’ll do whatever it takes to get her back, and I’ll bury anyone who’s hurt her. Delilah is mine, and I will kill to protect her.
What are readers saying?
“Titan is HOLY MOLY HOT, HOT, HOT and he decides the second he sees Delilah that he wants her and the President of Hades Abyss always gets what he wants. This book is so full of steam and surprises. Their story is beautiful and they’re unrelenting in their love. Titan is another exceptional journey in the lives of the Hades Abyss MC.”

When Harley’s writing, her motto is the hotter the better — off the charts sex, commanding men, and the women who can’t deny them. If you want men who talk dirty, are sexy as hell, and take what they want, then you’ve come to the right place. She doesn’t shy away from the dangers and nastiness in the world, bringing those realities to the pages of her books, but always gives her characters a happily-ever-after and makes sure the bad guys get what they deserve.
