Do you set goals for your New Year? I do, but I keep my goals flexible, because I know life doesn’t always go according to plan.
One thing I started doing last year was a vision board for the coming year. I create these vision boards on New Year’s Day, and I create them on Pinterest. I make the board private, because I make it for myself, not for anyone else.
While I won’t share all of my visions for the coming year, I will tell you a few.
I plan to practice more self-care in 2019, and for me that means quiet time to write, read and meditate.
Another thing I want to do more of this coming year is travel. I have one trip in the books that I’m taking over the summer and hope to take a second one toward the end of 2019.
The third is to release more books. I’m off to a great start since Wild Ride, the first book I’ve released in nearly a year, is coming out on Friday!
I’ve spent the last couple years writing, writing, writing and I hope to finally release some things this year. I’ve held back on releasing (or even talking about) a lot the stuff I’ve been working on because I’ve been unsure what I wanted to do with it. I spent about a year researching and pitching an agent, but after careful consideration, decided I want to stay an indie author. I love the freedom and control I have over my career and I just can’t give that up.
What are some of your hopes or goals for the coming year?
Ariel Storm believes that fantasies are meant to be explored, on the pages of her manuscripts, and beyond. Ariel fell in love with all things paranormal, magical and mystical at a young age. Her obsession with the dark, dangerous and forbidden began in her teen years as a way to rebel against her strict religious upbringing. Her stories can range from contemporary BDSM to new adult to paranormal. One thing will never change, and that’s writing scorching hot erotic romance with unconventionally sexy alpha heroes.
