Happy Holidays, Dear Reader! I’m A. Catherine Noon, and you can call me Noony. I’m back after an extended hiatus and just in time for… flood warnings!
Yup. The weather service is monitoring our area for flooding through Sunday. I had to cancel, or at least most likely will do so, a party we scheduled for Saturday just due to the anticipating storming. It is expected to be worse south of us. Mostly rain down here, though the mountains will see a lot of snow.
What about you, Dear Reader? What’s the weather like in your valley? I know our Australian friends are having a really rough time right now from wildfires, as well as significant portions of the African continent. I sure hope wherever you are you’re safe, warm, and holed up with a good book to read. Or, if you work a day job like I do, have a good book to read tonight when you get home.
A good book like one of the ones by the authors participating in our holiday party, say?
Why, Dear Reader, you read my mind.
Over the next couple days, I’ll be with you to talk about warm homes, share pictures of the rain and surroundings here, holiday decorating, crafts and feeding our creative souls (sounds so fancy when I say it like that, yes?), and release our latest short story in ebook form, Six Geese Laid.
So sit back, grab a cuppa, and enjoy your party!
