I remember once when my sisters and I went out Trick or Treating we… went to this one house… this guy opens the door and instead of handing out candy, he put his business card for piano lessons in our bags! I still shake my head thinking about it so many years later.

The nerve. That was absolutely disgusting. If someone had did that around here when we were kids, they would have gotten their house TP’d. Ugh.

I’ve been to houses where they go all out on the decorating, which I love. Even one had a haunted house. Small but kind of scary.

I love that kind of thing too. It makes Halloween so much more fun. Our one neighbor used to go all out when their daughter was small. She’s a teenager now, and they don’t do as much decorating, although they do put the blow up eyeballs in the one tree, which is awesome.

We have a graveyard out in front of our house with the names of some of our favorite horror actors on them – Vincent Price, Bela Lugosi and Boris Karloff. It’s fun and I love it. It was Hubby’s idea the first year we were back here, and we’ve had it every year since.
