This is my last post for today. I will be here tomorrow with more excerpts from Wicked Intentions. Please join me again tomorrow. Thank You and Good night.
The next morning as Gayle showered for school, Bill enjoyed a day off from work and studies. While he sat at the kitchen table, leisurely enjoying his coffee and reading the paper, a dark shadow directly outside the kitchen window caught his attention. He jumped from his chair to investigate. Looking out the window in all directions, he saw nothing. But the incident was unnerving. “What are you looking at?” asked Gayle from behind startling him.
“Don’t sneak up on me like that!” he snapped.
“I said hello when I entered the room. Didn’t you hear me?”
“No, I did not!”
“What’s gotten in to you Bill? You‘ve been so moody lately.”
Bill gathered his composure. “I’m sorry. I’m just under a lot of pressure right now with midterms and all. I thought I saw something…or someone at the window.”
