Later that week, Ralph arrived early one morning to start the work. When he entered the home and reached the room the equipment and supplies were in, he was aghast. “Damn the person who did this!” he screamed when seeing the lumber, saws, ladders, everything he bought destroyed. He examined the damage. The items were bent and twisted as he’s never seen before. “Only someone with the strength of Superman could do this,” he yelled before stomping out.
He drove straight home and relayed the news to Ginger and his son. Jack immediately left the room. “I have something to do outside,” he said making a hasty retreat out the back.
Ralph and Ginger sat. Ralph was silent for several minutes before he spoke. “I’m gonna find out who owned that mansion before you bought it.”
“So now do you believe me?” asked Ginger softly.
“I admit there’s something wrong about that house, but I aint saying I believe in spooks.”
