Meanwhile, Betsy continued exploring. In one bedroom, she discovered a full length mirror, in a far corner. She gazed at herself in the looking glass. “Mirror, mirror, on the wall,” she playfully sang. “Who’s the prettiest of them all?” Suddenly, the mirror cracked then shattered, and the door slammed shut. “Ahhhh!” she screamed getting the attention of her entire family.
“Betsy!” yelled Ginger racing from the small room with Mike and Daisy hot on her heels. The child’s screams grew louder, leading her family straight to her.
Ginger tried opening the door, but it was stuck. She pounded on the door from the outside, as her daughter continued to scream.
“Betsy, unlock the door,” shouted Ginger, but the child only screamed louder.
“Here let me try,” said Mike as his wife gave him leeway. He then shoved his muscular form against the seemingly locked door. “It’s not budging,” he said.
“Let me try again,” said Ginger, switching places once again with her husband. But then, before she even grasped the handle, the door suddenly flew open.
